Testimonial re Madonna ArtDeco #1. I discovered this young “unknown” artist DAMYAN last winter at a friend’s house in Prague.
I never purchase artwork for its value but from a “blow of heart”.
His portrait drawings (some recalling parchment) are thoroughly seductive and
magical in their technical virtuosity.
The artist’s recent portraits feature major movie or music stars. My purchase
was an astonishing portrait of Madonna with a mix of intense pencil and color
drawings in an art deco surround.
His work is inimitable. The skill used in his artwork is his own signature
easily recognizable between hundreds of other portraitists.
A truly appealing work and I wish to acquire more artwork soon. The destiny
of this young talent will soon be recognized by major galleries and critics.
